no, we have not been in a coma since the party. and there's no trouble with the kids, either. something extremely rare happened: in germany the sun is shining in september, for almost 3 weeks. so, not exactly writing weather... well, let's catch up, then, shall we?
the party was beautiful, we had lots of guests and were very happy about so many people wanting to celebrate our dragon with us, about all the wishes and the gifts, too!

and speaking of thanks: mom, you are an ACE - second to none! and thanx also to all other helpers!

by the way, the party spun off a guestbook, with photos of guests and the dragon on the right...

and whoever didnt make it: just stop by any other time.

sometimes even rest & relaxation are hard bases to cover. especially to a preemie. and therefore the osteopath came to benny today, because he is cramping his body so hard some time. and a little bit to his siblings, too.

to a layman it looks a lot like magic, because she isn't moving or doing much. so little in fact, that i was afraid to ask what she is doig there, because i didn't wanna step on her toes and create misunderstandings. but it must have worked real wonders because our firstborn lay in his bed happier than in a long time, relaxed, his hands open and much more like a boneless chicken than a question mark! :)

vicky is the first to arrive at 5 kilos! well, there will be enough reason to toast and drink to at our home coming day party!

especially since collin will make it in time to 4 kilos, according to projections...

statistics is a powerful too, not only to predict the future! served extremely well during the early stages of collin's life, too!

besides, a minitab license is much easier to use and more comfortable to carry around than the good old crystal sphere - AND more reliable when it comes to predicting! :)

well, there aint such thing as "too early", so we exposed the dragon to the bazillus and hope for infection. after all, for 5 years now, my blood donation money goes to a special purpose account named "driver's licanse". originally meant to pay for one, we're gonna have to make do, but if all else fails, we can always gamble on the stock market, some place... :)

and remember, little dragon, old willy G: "keep the rubber side down!" :)

cell phones? they do have them, trust me! even with vibration alarm! mostly it rings when i have them in my arms, feeding, snuggling or such... feel it very distinctly... in the back of their pants. question remains: who the heck calls them 8 times a day?? :)

...has this picture in any event, that is precisely why it is here: the summer 2011 was one to forget, just as well as every negative thing should be forgotten! and the way our brain works, it helps us in this, in the vast majority of cases.

well, the _VERY_ little mates, the incubator mates, have taken a little guardian angel break, relax freshly washed up on the shelf and watch from above.
each of the three little ones has picked a new fluffy mate:

if only we had as much of everything as we do of fluffy mates! ;-)

the boys have a new acquaintance: after vicky was already at the pediatrists for her vaccination, now they went on friday. quick and dirty, even without the super space transporter, just with the two maxi cosis in our hands we got there, vicky staid home in loving care of gramma.

the measuring and weighing and examination results were satisfactory. we even met an old pal: our good old norm curve - the one showing norm size and norm weight over pregnancy week and child age. and guess what it says about the boys: they are inside the norm! based on the date they _should_ have been born, benny is right on center, collin at the lower limit, but inside!

who said that was not possible? :)
