now, we all know the feeling of extra month remaining at the end of the money, right? me too! but i really cannot remember the last time i had this little TIME at hands! getting up in the dark, returning home in the dark, inbetween clouds only 7 feet away from the ground, darkening my day, frenzillions of urgencies requiring my immediate attention, honey due lists galore, sick in bed, visitors, travel and amidst it all the dragon starts running a fever and LAUGHS at it (or me, not sure...) - but i cannot even get angry because they will pick my nursing home one day... sunny outlook from where i'm sitt'n... :)) BUT: soon will be christmas, and everything will be good! we got the birthday done in style, even when it was a weird feeling at the beginning, it was the longest one in 39 years, thank y'all friendly loving hosts!

so, one more straightening up, decorating the tree, two or three gluhwein and waiting for the moment when the stress starts fading, for i really dont wanna miss THAT ONE!

vicky - exactly! vicky started rolling. all by herself, always and ever which way! unstoppable... and when ever she is not rolling, she sticks her feet into her brothers' mouth. or her hands. and when her brothers are "fed up" with it and scream and mom or dad have separated vicky then she sticks her feet into her own mouth.

looks like somehow this excess energy needs to be channeled in a smart direction... :)

well, we seem to have started the third chapter, where the brood is no longer where we have put them, after a while. next stop: flexi leashes! :)

yesterday was vaccination day, again... the target this time: RSV. both of them. the italian crotch rocket and the mean respiratory syncytial virus.


on first - and second, too - sight they've got a lot in common: both take your breath away - the bike's acceleration and the virus' inflamation - and both comprise a certain lethal potential. luckily the vaccination safely prevents both with a single shot: the virus by passive immunisation and the machine by lack of residual funds: 3 kids' 5 months for 2 years' worth of RSV vaccine would - according to aprilia germany - buy you almost two of them, limited edition...

recapping: passive immunisation at astronomical prices safely prevent any sort of RSV and thus keep little three headed dragons alive and healthy.

but, with health insurance shouldering this burden, this whole "breath taking acceleration" thing could possibly be re-visited in the future. to be continued. in time... :)

there is a good and a bad news:
the good one: our storage problem is solved.
the bad one: the sponsored milk & diapers are almost all gone.

so, after all, it's time to get down to business - for me as provider to this family... when it will be leftovers for me from here on out: spit-soaked bread, cookies that fell from the table, practically all warm and cold vegetables especially spinach and brussels sprouts... at the maximum on christmas or father's day a DIY steak kit: 3 odd ends of tough meat cooled down on the respective kid's plates to self-assemble... and the look on mommy's face - sneering sympathy blended into open demand for nutrient submission for the brood's greater good... *yowl*

last night was kick-off: bruna brought collin to the dinner table - AFTER feeding him his bottle: he never quit staring at my meat sandwich... downright eery! my kids will turn me into a vegetarian...

well, finally, we got a problem: food contesting! phew, coulda been worse, huh? :)

amazing, just how dynamic children's development really can be. especially if one has two extra specimen for comparison in one's very home...

in any event: the littlest, the one with the hardest start into life, is now the one to first grab something, with purpose:

the ring lay next to him a second ago, now in his hand, will it be in his mouth in a moment! next stop: tooth fairy's lair... :)

there was no picture of the three of them together in a while.

so, here quickly one, before then but really finally probably all the problems will roll around that everyone keeps promising. so far we have yet to see even the first one! :)

first night without sensor! well, with "un"-cheesy feet the steps get bigger on the way to normality...

and: last night we found out that benny can get real loud when being joyful. just needs to be rubbed right, tickle his belly and he will scream-laugh in this contageous way... makes you think "no fear!" :)

by the way, this morning there was another step on the way to the "half six pack of drivers licenses". in this context: a warm welcome and big thanx to the transfusion department of the university clinic in mainz: nice to see directly that it truly is for good purposes - after all, there were quite a few cars of them parked in front of the worms clinic while our dragon was in there...

sleeping on the job - who does not dream - in the literal sense - of that? well, the sleep lab (somnology room) does point in that direction on first thought... in reality it is something completely different. and much more stressful than it sounds. the sleep lab conducts important measurements. the "star" sleeps, of course, but - as in the movies - there is a star and lots and lots of "others" watching behind the scenes making sure everything works. unfortunately - unlike in the movies - there are not even credits naming them in the end. :) therefore there is a big THANX! on the blog.

collin was in the hospital again: to get rid of the heart and oxygen monitor his vital functions had to be examined in his sleep. the official result is still outstanding, but in the morning there was relaxed happy faces, so - as in the movies - a happy ending can be expected.

and once the monitor is gone, the sensor will be gone with it. and so will the cheesy feet it causes! :)
